A GLAMOROUS beachfront trophy home with a waterslide to rival a theme park’s has hit the market in Noosa for a cool $9.95 million.
The luxurious five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion at 1/56 David Low Way, Sunrise Beach, is owned by an interstate couple, who rarely get to use it because of their work commitments.
Spanning 1729 sqm, it is one of the largest land parcels on the Sunshine Coast to boast absolute beach frontage.
Marketing agent Milan Markanovic of Tom Offermann Real Estate said he had already received one offer for the property and inquiries from a number of interest parties from overseas and interstate.
“At the moment, it’s probably one of the nicest properties available,” Mr Markanovic said.
Records show the property last sold for $7.6 million in 2017.
Mr Markanovic said the $9.95 million price tag was great value considering the quality of the property.
“I think at this level, it’s exceptional buying,” he said.
“We just sold lot 6 (in the estate), which was on an 820 sqm block and listed for $5.25 million.
“This is double the size and an exceptional house, so there’s a lot of value in this site at $9.95 million.”
The luxurious pad comes with a resort-style pool with a 25m lap lane and aquarium-style viewing windows, a manicured lawn area leading to the pool deck, a spa-bathroom with Swedish sauna/steam room and a built-in barbecue.
It also features an ipad/iPhone controlled home automation system, a four-car garage with a turntable that feels more like a showroom, and a huge gym.
And as an added bonus, the owners are selling the home fully furnished.
One of the most unique features of the home would have to be the backyard waterslide.
“It’s pretty cool,” Mr Markanovic said.
“The previous owners wanted to offer a resort-style feel, and it’s designed for both adults and kids to use!”
Mr Markanovic said a comparable sale would be that of 2A Belmore Tce, Sunshine Beach, which fetched $14 million in 2018.
He said it was on a much smaller parcel of land, but the house was of a similar standard and the Sunshine Beach address commanded a higher price.
